Nidhhi Agerwal is gearing up for her big Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff in Munna Michael and she might have been dreaming about finally making it happen in the industry. But then life is not so kind. Recently, she was forced to leave her apartment in Bandra because she is a single actress. Yes, that is the reason she was given for being ousted. Speaking to Mid-Day, Nidhhi said, “I have lived with my friend for nearly six months. Now, hunting for a new place seems an impossible task. Because I am single and an actress, I have been denied accommodation. As of now, that’s the biggest hurdle that I have faced here.” Honestly, I, on a personal level, totally get her. All unmarried single girls and boys are made to suffer in Mumbai if you plan to rent a flat. Housing societies in Mumbai are very stringent towards bachelors and spinsters. And if by any chance, you belong to the media background, your problems get escalated. Many even suggest getting your parents in the city so that they can validate your existence. On one hand we claim Mumbai to be a global city and on the other such biases are still existent here. Anyway, Nidhhi is facing the brunt of being single and an actress, which is shameful to say the least.
Tiger Shroff and Nidhhi Agerwal’s Munna Michael will release on July 21. The film was slated to release on July 7, but guess Spiderman’s presence at the theatres on the same date might have prompted them to change the date. Munna Michael is a story about Munna, who worships Michael Jackson and wants to become a dancing legend like him. It may sound as a dance film but there is some fantastic actions sequences coming your way. Apparently, the film’s climax is inspired by Shaolin Soccer.
