Here’s how you can get a body like Farhan Akhtar


From being one of the best young directors in Bollywood to one of the finest actors,
Farhan Akhtar has come a long way with his talent and dedication. We already saw his intense transformation when he essayed the role of the Flying Sikh, Milkha Singh in his biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.
And now the man has transformed his body further, looking no less than a supermodel. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, before he took off to Spain for a holiday recently, Farhan Akhtar told his trainer of 12 years, Samir Jaura, that he wanted to look like a lean, mean supermodel on the cover of an international magazine. He added that he only had eight weeks to transform himself and that he was willing to do whatever it took to get there.

Ever since then his routine involved waking up at 5:30 am and cycling for 22 km. This was followed by two-hour workout every morning and rigorous volleyball sessions twice a week. On Tuesday morning, along with his cyclist friends (he jokingly refers to the four-member gang as “cycos”), Farhan broke his own record, pedalling from Bandra to Colaba, covering a distance of 42 km in 2.15 hours.

His trainer Samir asserted how he would stun the audience with his transformation yet again. ” He will be in the best shape of his life, beefier and more muscular ,” said Samir.
Farhan began his day with a breakfast of six egg whites and watered dahi. Following a strict carb free diet which meant no rice, roti or bread, there was the occasional salmon and salad for the lean look. ” He has a high metabolism rate and when he’s on a high-powered workout regime, he tends to lose weight. Since he now wants to flex his muscles and flaunt an envious upper body slant, we worked towards strength and functional training, while cutting the calories. His water intake was monitored too ,” Samir informs
